Additive Color for Kids
By playing around with a prisms, English physicist Sir Isaac Newton discovered that white light can be broken down into its different colors.
Additive color mixing
Red, green and blue are the "primary" or main colors of white light. All three colors will result in white when added equally, the absence of all three will produce black.
1 Red + 1 Blue + 1 Green = White
